POS — RETAIL
Oddi
A point-of-sale system that runs the backroom.

A Mexican mini-market — an abarrotes scaled up — runs on speed at the counter and accuracy in the back. Off-the-shelf point-of-sale software is built for chains: heavy, subscription-priced, and assuming hardware and connectivity that a neighborhood store doesn't always have. Oddi needed a register that just works, every shift, without a monthly contract.
What we built
A daily-driver POS the staff actually use, not a demo. It rings up sales, tracks inventory as stock moves, and closes out the day with an end-of-day report the owner can trust.
- Fast sales entry — built for the rhythm of a busy counter, not a training manual.
- Inventory that moves with sales — what's on the shelf and what's in the system stay in sync.
- End-of-day reports — the numbers reconcile at close, every night.
How it's built
Like every CLIXHOUSE system, Oddi is custom software on a binary database — no rented platform, no per-terminal license. It's in real backroom use, which is the only test that counts.
The result
A register the store owns outright, running the front and the back of the shop from one system.
